We hope that all pupils and parents / carers are having a good half term break.

A reminder that pupils return to school for learning on Tuesday 5th November (Monday 4th November is a staff training day).

Now that the clocks have gone back and the afternoons / evenings will be darker, it is very important that everyone takes extra care on the journeys to and from school.

Over the autumn/winter months the school day can both start and end when natural light is poor and it is dark.

During term time, the majority of child road accidents happen in the afternoon and evenings, especially in the autumn and winter when it gets dark earlier in the day.

In these twilight conditions wearing bright fluorescent or reflective clothing or tape that is picked up in car’s headlights can help to keep children safe.
